Phone-Free Camp

Cell phones and electronic devices are not allowed at camp. This is a time to unplug, connect with the Spirit, and be fully present with each other. Phones must be left at home or turned in to leaders upon arrival. Please bring physical scriptures. Adult leaders will have phones -parents can contact Young Men leaders during camp if needed.

Each camper must have a signed Permission and Medical Release Form to participate. Please print, complete, and sign the form, then turn it in to a member of your bishopric.

From the stake center: Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes north. The camp entrance is directly off FM 1486.

Arrival: 12:00 PM (noon) on Monday, July 20th

Departure: 12:00 PM (noon) on Wednesday, July 22nd

Note for leaders and volunteers: There is no Wi-Fi at camp. Please download any needed content to your devices before arriving.

Young men in the Katy Texas Stake who are turning 12 through 18 in 2026 (born 2008-2014). Recently graduated seniors are also invited to attend! Friends are welcome too with approval from your bishopric -they will need to register individually. This is a stake-level Young Men's camp.
$100 per youth. Adult leaders attend free. Payment is due by June 14, 2026. You can pay online at donations.churchofjesuschrist.org -enter the amount in the “Local – Youth Camp Registration” section. Or fill out a physical tithing slip and give it to someone in your bishopric. Many wards held fundraisers to help cover camp costs -talk to your Young Men leaders to see if your ward’s fee has been reduced. If there are financial difficulties, please reach out to your bishop for assistance.
Online registration closes on May 17, 2026. Payment is due by June 14, 2026 -either online at donations.churchofjesuschrist.org (under “Local – Youth Camp Registration”) or via a physical tithing slip to your bishopric. Please register early so we can plan accordingly.
Yes! Each camper needs a signed Church Permission & Medical Release Form. You can download it here. Please turn in the completed form to a member of your bishopric.
Yes! The registration form allows you to add multiple campers at once. Just click "Add Another Son" on the registration form.

Camp Caney Creek is located at 4045 N FM 1486 in Montgomery, TX -about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the stake center. The gate entrance is directly off FM 1486. Arrival is at 12:00 PM (noon) on July 20th.
Camp Caney Creek offers swimming (2 pools), a giant waterslide, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, archery, basketball, gaga ball, 9-square, a whittling craft, a service project, campfire devotionals at the amphitheater, and more!
